10 Statistics on HCA Executive Salaries in 2012

Last week, Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America released its proxy disclosure with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, which showed CEO Richard Bracken earned more than $46.3 million last year. However, base salaries for Mr. Bracken and other primary executives represented less than 4 percent of their total pay.

Mr. Bracken and four other top officials listed in HCA's proxy — CFO Milton Johnson, President of Operations Samuel Hazen, National Group President Charles Hall and President of Operations and Service Lines Group Bruce Moore Jr. — made a cumulative $113.1 million in fiscal year 2012. Their salaries totaled roughly $4.48 million.
