Columbus, Ohio-based Mount Carmel Health Partners — a physician-hospital organization — and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in
Mount Carmel Health Partners is part of Mount Carmel Health System, which has more than 1,200 primary care and specialty physicians.
The goal of the ACO is to use coordinated care to improve health outcomes while cutting healthcare costs. Both organizations will analyze data on quality, costs, and utilization to help identify opportunities to improve care.
