Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware and Delaware health systems ChristianaCare and Bayhealth have announced plans to collaborate on a Medicare Advantage plan.
Pending regulatory approval by CMS, the plan will be available for enrollment this fall for coverage beginning Jan. 1, according to a news release shared with Becker's July 20.
"ChristianaCare and Bayhealth are prominent healthcare providers in the areas of care coordination and outcomes, and they have strong ties to their communities," Highmark's Federal Markets President Alexis Miller said in the statement. "This collaboration will help increase access to care, enhance the provider-patient experience, and make way for new solutions to improve health for all seniors."
