Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital has teamed up with Queensbury, N.Y.-based Hudson Headwaters Health Network to open a laboratory services facility at West Mountain Family Health, also in Queensbury, The Saratogian reported Sept. 25.
Glens Falls currently has three phlebotomy draw stations at West Mountain Family Health. The new laboratory will allow for additional patient sample testing.
"We consistently explore strategies to increase access and improve patient experiences," Tucker Slingerland, MD, CEO of Hudson Headwaters Health Network, told the publication. "Our partnership with Glens Falls Hospital allows for increased hours of lab services, which results in greater convenience for our community members. We are grateful for the opportunity to plan and complete this service with Glens Falls Hospital."
