Cleveland Clinic names 3 new leaders

Cleveland Clinic has appointed new leaders for its Northeast Ohio Market and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Donald Malone Jr., MD, president of the Northeast Ohio market, was selected as a senior advisor for capital, space and strategy, according to a May 7 news release from the health system. Dr. Malone is a 35-year veteran of Cleveland Clinic. In addition to his new role, he will continue his clinical practice.

Jorge Guzman, MD, was selected as the new president of the health system's Northeast Ohio market, according to the release. Dr. Guzman serves as CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, part of the M42 group. He previously spent five years as chief of staff for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and served as chief medical officer there in 2017.

Georges-Pascal Haber, MD, PhD, was selected as the new CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, according to the release. Dr. Haber has nearly two decades of experience at Cleveland Clinic. His most recent role is chair of the Glickman Urological Institute, enterprise chair of urology, and professor of surgery.

Dr. Malone and Dr. Guzman are slated to begin their new roles on July 1. Dr. Haber's appointment is effective on June 1.
