The following healthcare organizations shared hiring plans in June and July:

1. South Carolina hospital seeks LPNs, clerical specialists, medical assistants
Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital, a 197-bed acute care facility, scheduled a job fair July 12 as it seeks to hire medical assistants, licensed practical nurses and clerical specialists.

2. 20 hospitals hiring nurses
Here are 20 hospitals and health systems that recently posted job listings seeking nurses.

3. California city anticipates 1,200 jobs spurred by Kaiser, Adventist and Sutter expansions
The city of Roseville, Calif., anticipates a job boom as Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, Roseville-based Adventist Health and Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health expand in the area, reported The Sacramento Bee. The area is expected to see about 1,200 more jobs over several years resulting from the projects.

4. Kentucky medical center seeks RNs, LPNs
Prestonsburg, Ky.-based Highlands Regional Medical Center hosted a career fair June 13 to fill nursing positions.

5. Samaritan Medical Center seeks to fill healthcare jobs
Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y., hosted a career fair June 6 to fill full- and part-time positions, including certified nursing assistants in long-term care; nursing assistants in hospital care, food service and housekeeping; and registered and licensed practical nurses.
