In a recent survey, clinicians report spending more than twice the amount of time they would like to on supply-chain related tasks, and as a result have less time with patients and increased stress levels. Cardinal Health surveyed 306 frontline providers, hospital administrators, supply chain decision makers and department managers about their organization’s supply chain. The results show risks to clinician satisfaction, productivity and patient care, while also uncovering opportunities for distributions to support positive outcomes.
