Wholesale costs increased 0.2 percent for hospitals and 0.1 percent for physician practices in June, according to recently released data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index.
Comparatively, hospital wholesale costs dropped 0.1 percent in June 2008 and wholesale physician practice costs remained flat during the same period.
