1. The report outlines nine goals the White House hopes to accomplish by 2022 as part of a larger effort to address America’s opioid crisis.
2. A major goal focuses on reducing national overdose deaths by 15 percent within five years.
3. Another goal aims to achieve a 15 percent decrease in illicit drug use among youth by 2022.
4. The Trump administration also outlined plans for 20 percent of specialty treatment facilities to provide medication-assisted treatment by 2022.
