Virginia’s Prince William Health System Close to Securing Partner for Merger

Prince William Health System in Manassas, Va., is close to securing a partnership with one of two non-profit healthcare providers, according to a report in The Washington Post.

The health system is currently negotiating with two unnamed organizations and plans to complete the merger within three months. The merger will allow Prince William to expand and modernize its facilities, according to the report.

Less than a year ago, Inova Health System abandoned a deal to merge with Prince William citing a legal challenge from the Federal Trade Commission.
