Valley Medical Center (Renton, Wash.). Valley Medical Center has an entire floor dedicated to joint and spine patients. The hospital’s joint center was the first dedicated joint replacement center in the Pacific Northwest and was one of the first to adopt computer-assisted surgery and report results in a multicenter study. U.S. News & World Report rated the hospital as high-performing in hip replacement and knee replacement in its common care ratings this year. The hospital, a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement, was also named one of the nation’s top 100 hospitals for orthopedic surgery, joint replacement and spine surgery by Healthgrades. In addition, Valley Medical Center was ranked No. 18 in the nation for orthopedic surgery by CareChex.
