The company began as Technology Management Concepts and originated from St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis, Ind. The company was incorporated into TriMedx in 1999. According to the release, the company has concentrated cost reduction, containment and elimination through people, processes and technology in order to save its costumers money.
TriMedx manages 400,000 medical devices, and TriMedx experts help hospitals optimize revenue streams, develop more robust regulatory compliance programs, evaluate total cost of ownership and predict equipment lifecycle performance while improving clinical staff satisfaction and increasing patient safety, according to the release.
To commemorate its 10th anniversary, the company is looking forward to the next decade and beyond while celebrating past successes such as:
- saving over $100 million for the nation’s largest nonprofit health network;
- launching Axess Ultrasound, a former TriMedx business unit, as a separate entity which is now a $10 million organization with thousands of customers of its own; and
- creating the TriMedx Foundation, which supports medical missions in 18 developing countries around the world.
