Value-based care operations are not new to the two health systems. In 2014, TriHealth and St. Elizabeth Healthcare partnered to form an ACO called Healthcare Solutions Network.

Mutual and Lumeris will operate the Medicare Advantage plan, which will be available for 2019 coverage. Lumeris helps providers develop and operate value-based initiatives for Medicare Advantage plans. The two firms will also support Healthcare Solutions Network.
