As CFO, Rivas’ areas of expertise include financial accounting and reporting, mergers and acquisition, business systems effectiveness, management development and financial planning. Previously, Rivas was with Indiana University Health as Vice President, Finance, from 2004 through 2011, and served as the CFO from July 2011 through February 2012. He has also served as an audit partner with the Indianapolis office of EY (formerly Ernst & Young LLP), working with a variety of organizations and industries, principally focusing on audit, accounting and business advisory services to health care providers, including large, multi-location health care systems. A graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a certified public accountant, he is also active in a number of civic organizations.
