Tenet’s CFO Biggs Porter said at a conference that the bill is likely to increase volumes by expanding insurance coverage to millions of Americans. He also said that the bill could lead to reduced reimbursements from government payors but that these reductions might have occurred in the future even if a reform law had not been passed, according to the report.
