The clinics will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Shippensburg (Pa.) Medical Campus, Sept. 30 at Waynesboro (Pa.) Medical Office Building and Oct. 14 at Chambersburg-based Summit Health Center.
Patients may enter into the parking lot at the various clinic sites to receive the vaccination without moving from their cars. The flu shots are available to those 6 months or older.
Summit Health offered its first drive-through flu shot clinic last year.
“The first clinic was born from the desire to make good health accessible to community members,” said Jennifer Smith, assistant director for Summit Primary Care & Walk-in. “After the event, we evaluated its success and the opportunity to grow it into something that would benefit the entire Franklin and Cumberland county communities.”
