Mr. Fischer, a financial management expert with more than 35 years of experience in the healthcare sector, was named senior vice president and CFO at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2004. Mr. Fischer previously was senior vice president and CFO at Caritas Christi Health Care System, which Boston-based Steward Health Care System acquired in 2010. His career also includes service at Boston-based St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Milton (Mass.) Hospital and Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass.
