As part of the expansion, a 15,354-square-foot third floor will be added to an existing two-floor building on the hospital’s campus. The new floor will include 21 private rooms.
The project will also include the addition of about 8,650 square feet of new construction to the existing emergency department. The number of treatment rooms in the ED will increase from 14 to 25.
The construction is scheduled to be completed by 2015, according to the report.
