St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Indiana Opens $335M Replacement Hospital

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend, Ind., is opening its $335 million replacement hospital, according to a release from St. Joseph.

The new 658,000 square-foot hospital features 254 private inpatient rooms, 69 outpatient beds, an electronic medical records system, indoor and outdoor landscaping with water features and large windows to let in natural light.

Current patients are being transported to the new facility by ambulances that leave every 5-10 minutes from the old hospital.
