St. Cloud (Minn.) Hospital. Founded as a small community hospital by the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in 1886, St. Cloud Hospital is a Catholic-affiliated comprehensive regional medical center with 489 licensed beds, 440 physicians and nearly 5,000 employees. Truven Health Analytics named the hospital to its 100 Top Hospitals 2016 list and U.S. News & World Report ranked it among the top three in the state for 2016-17. In partnership with the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud Hospital is also home to a three-year family medicine residency program.
