Mary Black Health System in Spartanburg, S.C., has named Douglas Moyer as its new CEO, effective Nov. 9, according to Mary Black news release.
Mr. Moyer comes to Mary Black from Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Va., where he served as CEO.
Mr. Moyer has 12 years of management experience in healthcare. Prior to his tenure at SRMC, Mr. Moyer held several leadership positions at John Hopkins Health System in Baltimore. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.
