Sisters of Charity-Cleveland CEO Takes Over Leadership of St. Vincent Hospital

Sister Judith Ann Karam, president and CEO of Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System, will also become president and CEO of 182-bed St. Vincent Charity Hospital, after the system took sole ownership of St. Vincent, according to Sisters of Charity.

St. Vincent had been part of a joint venture between the Sisters of Charity and University Hospitals and was led by CEO Jeff Jeney, who has left the system.

Sisters of Charity said the changes should cut costs and improve efficiencies for the health system, which has five hospitals in Ohio and South Carolina.
