The medical center, which entered bankruptcy in September 2017 and shut down the next month, finalized a deal with Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health to reopen in October 2018. The deal is subject to voter approval Nov. 6.
Under the agreement, Adventist will pay $2.3 million to lease the hospital and other buildings on the campus.
The hospital will reopen its emergency services, inpatient nursing, intensive care unit, medical imaging, lab and nutritional services on Oct. 15. Other services, like its obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatal ICU and cardiac catherization lab will open once the hospital has proper staffing levels.
The opening follows a two-day inspection by the California Department of Public Health.
