The Digital Innovation Group delivers support for new technologies, including the technical infrastructure, trial and rapid adoption of both outside as well as internally developed technologies. The Digital Innovation Group has built Xealth, a digital prescribing platform, and Wildflower Health, a mobile health software company.

In 2014, Providence launched Providence Ventures and the $300 million Providence Fund as the Digital Innovation Group’s strategic arm to invest in early and mid-stage companies. It then typically deploys $8 million to $15 million during the lifetime of the investment.
