Prices for Services in Hospitals Rises, Remains Steady for Physicians in February

Prices for services in general medical and surgical hospitals rose 0.5 percent while prices for physicians’ services remained steady in February, according to a release by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

In comparison, prices of direct life, health, and medical insurance carriers rose 0.7 percent.

Overall, prices of traditional Service Industries rose 0.1 percent in February.
