Penny Wheeler, MD. President and CEO of Allina Health (Minneapolis, Minn.). Prior to her appointment as president and CEO, Dr. Wheeler served as CFO of Allina Health. Her prior administrative roles include president of Minneapolis-based Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s medical staff and chair of the Allina Health Quality Committee. Dr. Wheeler currently chairs the Minnesota Community Measurement board and is on the board of Portico Healthnet. She is a board-certified OB-GYN and was named 2012 Outstanding Health Care Executive by Minnesota Business Magazine.
