Penn Presbyterian Medical Center includes Penn Orthopaedics, which has physicians in 10 orthopedic subspecialties covering each joint condition, spinal disorder or sports injury. In August 2014, Penn Presbyterian opened Penn Medicine University City, a new tower that houses the Penn Musculoskeletal Center, a multidisciplinary unit incorporating Penn Orthopaedics as well as rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitee, pain medicine, musculoskeletal radiology and Good Shepherd Penn partners. U.S. News & World Report ranked Penn Presbyterian as No. 24 in the nation for orthopedic care in its 2015-16 rankings, and it also boasts status as a Blue Distinction Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.
