CMH formed a committee in late October to pursue a possible clinical affiliation with a large Ohio urban hospital or healthcare organization, according to a press release from CMH.
The hospital lost $11 million between last year and 2006, and is likely to lose $2 million this year, according to the Courier’s report. The hospital partially attributes its losses to a growing number of patients with Medicare or Medicaid.
Responses for the RPF, which were sent to close to ten systems, according to CMH’s CEO as reported by the Courier, are due Jan. 23, with the hospital interested in finalizing an affiliation in 2009.
