NYU Langone Medical Center is an academic medical center consisting of five inpatient locations, including Tisch Hospital and the Hospital for Joint Diseases. NYU Langone also includes the Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center, Neuroscience Institute and Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine. The hospital hosts the annual Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures Gala and in 2017 the event raised $4.7 million to support epilepsy research and new therapies.
