New Guthrie Corning Hospital in New York One Step Closer to Becoming Reality

The New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council has recommended the Deputy Commissioner of Health approve of Guthrie Corning Hospital‘s plan to build a replacement 65-bed hospital.

The $150 million hospital will include all-private patient rooms and state-of-the-art technology. It will also be better equipped to accommodate same-day or outpatient services and shorter hospital stays.

Guthrie Corning plans to break ground in April 2012 and open doors to the public in July 2014.
