The hospital’s lab, blood bank, pharmacy and radiology department are the latest in a string of services that have shut down. Its emergency department shuttered Aug. 16.
The 496-bed academic medical center is slated to officially close Sept. 6.
Hahnemann University Hospital first announced plans to close in June due to “unsustainable financial losses.”
It is owned by Philadelphia American Academic Health System, which purchased Hahnemann from Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare last year.
