Missouri’s St. John’s Health Takes First Step Toward CON Approval for Orthopedic Hospital

St. John’s Health System, based in Springfield, Mo., has filed a letter of intent with the state to develop an orthopedic hospital in Springfield. Filing the letter of intent is the first step to obtaining a certificate of need for the hospital from the state’s Health Facilities Review Committee, according to a report by the Springfield Business Journal.
