Mercy Health Partners Purchases Ohio Hospital for $180M

The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati (Ohio) has chosen Cincinnati-based Mercy Health Partners to purchase the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati for $180 million, according to a report in The Oxford Press.

The sale is expected to take four to six months, and when completed, Jewish Hospital will be part of Catholic Healthcare Partners, Mercy Health’s parent organization. Mercy has promised to “honor the hospital’s unique Jewish heritage,” according to the report.

The deal will also end Jewish Hospital’s partnership with the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.
