Memorial Hospital in Kansas to Break Ground on $24M Expansion Project

Memorial Hospital in Abilene, Kan., is scheduled to break ground on a $24 million expansion and renovation project next week, according to a Salina Journal report.

The project will add 45,000 square feet of space to support an inpatient ward, obstetrics, an emergency room, surgical suite, radiology, laboratory and more. Another 40,000 square feet of space will be renovated for physicians’ offices. The entire project is expected to take approximately three years.
