Mayo’s New CEO Plans to Keep Involved in Health Reform Debate, According to St. Paul Pioneer Press

John Noseworthy, MD, Mayo Clinic’s new president and CEO, said the clinic will keep its newly found voice in the national health reform debate, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Dr. Noseworthy recently declared his opposition to Senate Democrats’ aborted proposal to allow younger adults to buy into Medicare.

He also contends that health reforms need to reward systems that provide quality healthcare at reasonable prices.
