Massachusetts’ New England Sinai Hospital Suspends New Admissions in Order to Address Patient Care Issues

New England Sinai, a long-term care hospital, has 21 days to correct the issues or risk losing its license, according to the report. Hospital officials decided closing the facility to new admissions would allow staff members to concentrate on providing care to existing patients and to attending training and meetings needed to address the problems.

The decision to close the hospital to new admissions was voluntary, according to the report.
