Martha Marsh to Retire as CEO of Stanford Hospital & Clinics

Martha Marsh plans to step down as president and CEO of California’s Stanford Hospital & Clinics Aug. 31, according to a report in the San Francisco Business Times.

She has held the position since April 2002, according to the report. An internal announcement cited by the Business Times said the hospital’s board plans to conduct a national search for Marsh’s replacement.

Before becoming CEO of Stanford, Marsh had been the director of hospital and clinics and the COO at UC-Davis Health System, Sacramento, Calif.
