Loma Linda University Medical Center Building New California Hospital, Medical Complex

Loma Linda University Medical Center is building a five-story, 106-bed hospital and a medical complex in Murrieta, Calif., according to a report in The Valley News.

The new medical complex will feature six surgical suites, a laparoscopic surgery center, imaging center, emergency room and general and acute-care services, according to officials from Loma Linda. The complex is expected to employ as many as 500 workers.

The hospital will feature medical specialties such as interventional cardiovascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, urology and orthopedics, according to the report.
