LogistiCare, Lyft partner for patient transportation

Atlanta-based LogistiCare, a nonemergency medical transportation manager, and San Francisco-based Lyft unveiled a three-year partnership to improve transportation services for patients.

As part of the partnership, LogistiCare and Lyft collaborated to create a solution using LogistiCare’s platform and Lyft’s application program interface.

The service is available to private, commercial and government-assisted individuals seeking access to healthcare appointments and social programs. It has launched in more than 276 cities across the U.S.
