Lake Shore Health Care Center Completes First Phase of $2.6 ED Renovation

Lake Shore Health Care Center in Irving, N.Y., has completed phase one of its $2.6 million emergency department renovation, according to a report by The Observer.

The newly renovated department includes seven private rooms, an expanded trauma room and a quick treatment area.

The next phase will include work on the ED’s triage room, registration room, waiting area and access center.

Phase two is expected to be completed this summer, according to the report.
