To provide healthier food options, Kaiser Permanente is offering more fruits and vegetables in cafeterias and on hospital meal trays; healthier beverages and meal options with fewer calories; less saturated fat and a balance of nutritious ingredients; and a wide variety of healthy food and beverages for its workforce.
Sixteen other hospitals also made a commitment with Partnership for a Healthier America to promote healthy and sustainable food.
