Inova Loudoun Hospital Opens Renovated ED, New Imaging Unit

Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Va., will soon open the first phase of a $32.9 million expansion and renovation project, according to a report by The Washington Post.

The first phase includes an expanded emergency department, a new diagnostic imaging unit and an expanded laboratory.

The new ED features 14 private exam rooms, four rooms designed for mental health patients and one room designated for gynecology services. It also includes an expanded triage space and two-bed trauma room.

The next phase of the project will include the renovation of the 22-bed Loudoun Adult Medical Psychiatric Services and the spaces that house the Loudoun Free Clinic and Loudoun Child Advocacy Center.
