Inova Fairfax Hospital (Falls Church, Va.). The Inova system is a founding sponsor of the Healthier Hospitals Initiative, and Inova Fairfax is committed to all six HHI Challenges. Inova Fairfax was also one of five Inova hospitals to receive the Greenhealth Partner for Change Award from Practice Greenhealth this year. Inova Fairfax stands out as the medical and surgical tower built on its campus in 2013 was the first in the system’s history designed and constructed based on LEED criteria.
