Idaho’s St. Luke’s Health System Names Bruce Jensen as New Executive to Oversee Replacement Hospital

Bruce Jensen will step down as CEO of St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center in Ketchum, Idaho, to oversee construction of a replacement for a sister hospital, according to a report by the Idaho Mountain Express and Guide.

Mr. Jensen has been named vice president of operations for Boise, Idaho-based St. Luke’s Health System, which oversees Wood River and St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, which will be replaced by a $220 million hospital that opens in June 2011.

He will be succeeded at Wood River by John Kee, current CEO of the existing St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center.
