This year, Iora, a Boston-based network of primary care clinics, will open new centers in Phoenix, Atlanta and Houston. The expansion is in addition to Humana’s value-based agreements with Iora’s existing primary care centers in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia and Washington.

The announcement comes a year after Humana and Iora expanded their partnership to 10 new primary care clinics in 2018.

Iora’s care model includes a care team that guides patients through their respective care journeys. Patients receive 24/7 telephone access to healthcare providers, same- or next-day appointments for acute care, and on-site labs, as well as online access to their medical records.
