Twistle, founded in 2011, automates communication between care teams and their patients to improve clinical workflows and the patient experience.

Twistle’s clinical pathways and patient communication channels enable Health Catalyst’s clinical, quality and life sciences products. Health Catalyst also said its cloud-based data platform will enhance Twistle’s automation through improved data-driven patient interactions.

Health Catalyst expects to pay for the deal using a mix of stock and cash. The companies expect the deal to close early in the third quarter of 2021.
