Thanks to a Commonwealth Fund grant, the Institute for Safe Medication Practices will resurvey hospitals on their medication safety practices later this year, according to a report by AHA News Now.
The survey will be administered jointly by the ISMP, the Health Research and Educational Trust and the AHA and has the goal of providing hospitals with a way to assess, compare and improve their medication safety practices.
The survey is scheduled to be conducted this fall and will ask hospitals about their progress over the past five years, according to the report.
