Mr. Cleary was convicted in late May for two counts of commercial bribery. The investigation into the kickbacks began in 2007 when Partners alerted the Massachusetts Attorney General that it believed Brian Colpak, the owner of Future Technologies, was attempting to bribe Partners employees in return for contracts totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, according to the report.
Mr. Colpak pleaded guilty in December and was sentenced to six months of home confinement and two years probation.
