Contested HCA Virginia Hospital Denied Land Use

The Loudoun County (Va.) Board of Supervisors reaffirmed an earlier vote denying HCA’s application for land use for its Broadlands Regional Medical Center, according to a report in the Loudoun Times-Mirror

The denial will end HCA’s development of the hospital as the Board indicated it will not meet again regarding the matter, according to the report.

The Broadlands project was contested by Inova Health.

HCA recently announced plans to turn its attention to the expansion of its Reston (Va.) Hospital Center. Inova plans to move forward with the development of a new hospital in the area.
