Construction on North Carolina’s Presbyterian’s Mint Hill Hospital Delayed to 2010

Presbyterian Healthcare, based in Charlotte, N.C., has pushed back construction of its new Mint Hill hospital until 2010, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.

The current economic situation and issues concerning transportation and sewer permits have been cited as reasons for the delay. Presbyterian Healthcare’s parent company, Novant Health, recently reported significant losses for 2008.
